The tension of the papermaking wire, if set improperly, will have a negative effect on the operation of the paper machine. Too low a tension setting will reduce the stability of the papermaking web, causing wrinkles or unexpected web deformation. Excessive tension will have an impact on the mesh, which in turn affects the dewatering performance, and will increase the load on the stick and bearing, causing the mesh to tear. And then there's the danger and the loss of productivity. If the tension of the papermaking net is uneven across the width of the machine, it will cause the guide rod to side, causing serious wear and uneven permeability of the net.

The 2-200 Tensiometer is compact, precise and robust for measuring the tension of paper web in motion. Easy and fast reading, easy to check and set the ideal tension value. The chassis frame isolates a piece of fabric for the pressure sensing element, and the sensing element presses the fabric under the action of pre-pressure, and the displacement of the sensing element is recorded and converted into the tension of the fabric. The maximum value can be recorded by a memory pointer, which can be cleared by a mechanical device. Therefore, even in dark and inconvenient measuring places, the measured tension value can be recorded accurately and one hand can be left free for safety.
